What is one lesson you have learned that has proven significant in your career?

I think the one lesson is to keep an open mind. You never know what things are going to bring.

We can become steadfast in how we do things, but if you keep an open mind, whether it's from a diversity standpoint or different ideas, we can learn from each other. There are different styles of doing things and opportunities that exist.

If someone wants to share something with you, pause and let them talk and listen. It might be something beneficial, or it might not be, but it could change your life regarding opportunities.

So, keep an open mind, be curious, ask lots of questions, and do a lot of listening.
