What are your main responsibilities within your role?
My role at a startup carries a lot of different responsibilities. When I started, I focused on getting students to use our artificial intelligence platform, which houses all our AI in one place. Now, I primarily work on what I call solutions engineering.
My role has transitioned into more of a sales engineer. I help students and faculty implement AI into the classroom. About 25% of my job involves outreach, sending emails to set people up on pilots and use Moodle Box.
The rest of my time is spent working with faculty, administrators, and students on how they should be using AI in the classroom; it's really about implementation. Another 25% of my role involves contributing to growth plans, go-to-market strategies, marketing, and general business growth ideas.
We have 13 employees and are scaling rapidly, so everyone does a bit of everything.
