Biggest Challenges Faced by a Head of Academic Sales Strategies at BoodleBox.ai
As Head of Academic Sales Strategies at a startup, Zach finds the biggest challenge to be time management due to the lack of structure and oversight in a remote work environment, stating "the only thing that moves us forward is me moving forward." A key learning has been task prioritization and anticipating future needs, though acknowledges that the freedom and responsibility can be difficult to balance when "you wanna do everything at one time."

Q6: Biggest challenge – role
For sure. Time management is the biggest thing when you're working at a startup. I don't have a whole lot of structure.
I have a lot of responsibility, but no one really checks on me. If I didn't want to do anything, I could go five days without talking to anyone in my company. I work completely remote, so no one really checks in.
The only thing that moves us forward is me moving forward, and that's hard sometimes because you want to do everything at once. So, time management and task prioritization are really top.
It's also what I've learned the most about in the last few years: knowing what questions will be asked in the future and answering them beforehand. It's hard, though.
