What does a day in the life of your role look like?
That's a typical consultant answer, it depends. It could be very busy.
If I'm on the client side, I might wake up at 7 o'clock in the morning in a hotel and go straight to the client site. Or I'll arrive there at 8 o'clock and do a whole day of interviews with lots of internal stakeholders. I'll probably start a lot of meetings in the afternoon.
We might be learning in the morning with my team and my consulting firm. We'll also consider how to push forward. Or, we could be really, really chill this week. We don't have that much work.
I'll do the follow-up with the clients and make sure whatever we're doing for them is going well. If there's not much going on, we'll wait for something to happen next week.
So, it depends on the clients, depends on the client, depends on the project, depends on the cycle of the year, depends on everything.
