Q1: Career path
Hi Willie, could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experience in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?
Russell, thanks for having me today. I went to school at the State University of New York at Binghamton. I got my undergraduate degree in accounting with a minor in finance.
I started my first job at Ernst & Young in their New York office, in the Northeast practice, Assurance practice. During my junior year at Binghamton, I interned with EY as well, in their Transaction Advisory Services, Valuation Business Advisory. That was back in 2012.
I started my career in 2013 and worked there for about two and a half years. Then I transitioned to a smaller advisory firm, but I was still working with people who loved EY.
