What does a day in the life of an assistant buyer look like?
My next question is: What does a day in the life of an assistant buyer look like?
The day in the life of an assistant buyer is different every day. Generally, you're going to be working out of your email. You wake up, check your priorities, and respond to urgent emails.
You might get on top of reorders and recuts that are doing well and you want to fuel the business. From there, you'll be putting out fires, addressing major issues, or discrepancies that have come up.
Every day will look different, but mostly you'll be working out of your email. Then there are four market weeks that are really fun, where you get to go to in-person buying appointments with the buyer.
