Transcript

What did you do in college to set you up for success in your career?

Great question. I started networking early, so I began connecting with industry professionals while I was in college.

I was involved in clubs, and through that, I had the opportunity to collaborate with different industries and work with professionals. I also tried out a couple of internships in different industries and roles.

This is because you want to figure out early on what you like and what you don't like. The internship route is the best way to do that, as you're learning while not being fully responsible. It's like free education.

Just have fun and try different things, and you'll understand what you like and don't like. Don't just go to school for the sake of attending class; also try to network with students, staff, teachers, and industry professionals.
