Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college?
What about any internships or jobs you've had before your current role?
Sure. I started my career as a sales consultant for Best Buy while I was a junior at Sac State. That was a fun job where I got to learn about sales.
During my last year at Sac State, I joined a local health and beauty startup as a software quality assurance intern. It was an unpaid internship, and I was told to just dive in and learn as much as possible while I was still attending Sac State.
After graduating, I landed my first job as a software engineering consultant at a firm called Design Group. There, I had the opportunity to work on very large-scale engineering projects for companies like Tesla, Intel, PG&E, Costco, and Google.
It was a fun job. Currently, I'm employed full-time at the California Department of Justice, working as an e-discovery data specialist.
