How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
I would say definitely people who are flexible and adaptive, and people who are curious as well. This goes back to what we were saying about the biggest challenges in this industry. A lot changes very rapidly.
Take for example, a platform like TikTok. Three years ago, it didn't even exist, and now it's one of the biggest competitors in the video industry. Having the adaptability to constantly understand the new environment and being curious about the latest trends is important.
It's about knowing what's out there and what the most updated business solutions are that content creators are using. Having that curiosity about always trying to be better and acquire more knowledge definitely helps within this industry.
I can't emphasize enough the communication part again. Dealing with external stakeholders and partnerships is all about listening and communicating yourself effectively, whether in written form or within meetings. So, flexibility, communication, and curiosity are key.
