What do you enjoy the most about your role?

I would say two things. One, that is really buried. Going back to one of the first answers I gave you, there's no typical day. It's project-based.

The projects vary in nature. Even though I specialize in cost efficiency, I could have also been asked for a different type of project, like how to increase revenues or improve the culture or working climate of the organization.

These types of things depend on the priorities of the organizations. This organization was focused on a very important process of cutting costs, so most projects were probably regarding cutting costs. But I think that variety is something I enjoy a lot.

The other thing is that we don't work in silos. We normally work in teams, and in many cases, cross-functional teams. As I was mentioning before, with HR Ops and other areas, this interaction with people with different backgrounds, different points of view, different angles to see business and how to approach problems, that's also very enjoyable.

I am a very social person, so I prefer those types of jobs over those that are very analytical where you are by yourself most of the time.
