What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?

The most obvious thing for me was that I picked the right undergraduate experience. I went to a small liberal arts college, and our motto was "Enter to Learn, Live to Serve." That set me up with a foundation to think that whatever I did professionally, I wanted to ensure I was serving the greater good.

I still come back to that motto, even though it's been almost 15 years since I left college. I also have a degree in Psychology, which has been incredibly helpful. The idea of being able to quantify behavior and learning is not a new concept for me.

It wasn't something I encountered in my first year. So, using data was something I was really comfortable with in my day-to-day. Additionally, I was on the Academic Honor Council. Seeing the bigger impact of academic integrity and how drastically education can affect us was really helpful and continues to be really helpful.
