What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
I enjoy being a public servant the most. My personality is altruistic; I like giving, so I like that I work in public service.
The military is public service. Working for the Department of Corrections is public service. Working at a public school is public service. You get a lot of benefits when it comes to your student loans.
I can get my student loans forgiven after 10 years of working in public service. You're serving people through your job. So when you think, "Oh, I have to volunteer or do extra things," it's not really necessary. You're already a public servant.
You could work in a private job or have a job where you don't interact with people. You could be very casual and just enjoy yourself. But for me, I like to serve people, so balancing self-love is always the challenge.
