Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Please include any internships or jobs you had before your current role.
I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Career Science from Oregon State University in 2020. During my senior year, I worked at Coding With Kids LLC, a small organization in Redmond, Washington, where I instructed kids through summer camps using code.
Six months after graduation, I left that job and moved on to Protege LLC, where I began my software engineering background. There, I worked on tools for an e-commerce site, such as creating backends for transferring points between individuals and ensuring searches were localized for international countries.
I worked at Protege for two years before I wanted to expand my knowledge base, so I started looking towards a master's degree. I graduated with my master's degree recently in 2024. I started my degree in 2022 and transitioned jobs during my last two semesters of schooling. And now I am here.
