What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
I think one of the biggest things is, especially with life right now where everything is so quick, responses are expected extremely quick as well. Everything is just so fast in life right now.
I think one of the biggest things is taking the moment to review the material that you're working on. When you have a deliverable and you're working on it, before you send it off to a manager, the biggest thing was taking a step away and then jumping back into it, reviewing it again before sending it off.
Because when you're completing something, a manager is much happier with you taking the extra hour to review it and put together almost a perfect deliverable. This is compared to if you have that immediate response, but then there are multiple things that someone you're reporting to has to make fixes on or even send it back and ask you to work on it again.
