What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
That's a really good question. What I enjoy specifically at ZoomInfo, selling go-to-market software, is that a lot of times the people I'm selling to are in sales, marketing, and business development roles. So I get to sell to people like me, and they understand the process and what I go through. The types of people I get to interact with are amazing.
I also work a lot with the small business space. So, a lot of the time, I'm meeting with the owner, president, or COO. This means I get to meet with established folks, people who are really successful, and I get to learn a lot about their business. I'm soaking up knowledge for maybe down the road, if I ever want to become a small business owner.
So, I get to meet with a lot of talented people. I also meet with people who know what I go through on a daily basis. The types of people I sell to come from all different backgrounds. I'm meeting with Australian companies, European companies, and folks in Florida, where I'm calling from, just outside of Portland, Oregon.
It's a lot of fun. You get to learn. Sometimes the world becomes really small. I always like to build rapport at the beginning of my calls, and you'll find cool connections with other folks. You get to talk about that. So, you just get to meet a lot of really cool people, and that's what I love about this job.
