What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
My main responsibilities within my job are pretty straightforward. They really revolve around generating revenue for the company.
This includes cold calling, emailing, and jumping on Zoom calls to give demos to prospects. I also keep my book of business up to date and clean. As an account executive, I have a book of business with a thousand plus accounts.
These are primarily websites that we're reaching out to, since we're in the e-commerce space. I make sure to update accounts with contacts and I'm always trying to find new contacts to reach out to at these different companies.
I'm also always looking for new e-commerce websites that aren't in our system yet, so I can add them. It's pretty straightforward, and it's really a lot of grunt work like cold calling and emailing, which is probably the majority of the day. Then, hopefully, some demos are interspersed.
