What Type of Person Thrives in a Career According to a Principal Owner at CEA Strategies
To thrive in the industry, a person must be "always curious" about the present and future, readily "adaptable" to constant change while maintaining emotional intelligence, and confident enough to offer perspectives and ask questions. This requires owning one's personal agency and navigating challenges with a calm, thoughtful approach.

How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
You have to be curious, always curious. Every client or job you get presents a different challenge. Being curious about the organization, the assignment, and the future is extremely important.
It's important to be curious about where you are, but also where you're going and where the organization you're working with is headed. The other thing is being adaptable.
Change happens all the time. You have to get comfortable with change because it's going to happen. The most successful people I've ever met have managed well through change. They keep their emotional intelligence, stay calm, think things through, and have successfully managed change throughout their careers.
The last thing is to be confident. You don't know it all, and nobody knows it all. So, be confident, ask questions, and don't be afraid to offer opinions and your perspective. That's what everyone is looking for. Own your own personal agency.
