How do you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
The industry employs a very diverse group of people with different backgrounds. This can range from technology and food to production and supply chain, whatever the case may be.
What I've noticed is that the ones who thrive are those who aren't afraid to take risks. This might be a cliché answer, but it's entirely true.
They are definitely relentless and push through for new store openings or for growing the business. Interpersonal skills are also huge in this industry.
Additionally, just showing up to work every day is important. We're allowed flexibility to be hybrid, but it's noted that some of the people who thrive are there day in and day out. They are often the first ones in and last ones out, and are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done efficiently.
