What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
Sometimes teaching is a bit theatrical. You have to keep the younger minds engaged.
The typical approach in the past might have been a boring professor reading slides, causing students to zone out or fall asleep. My approach is more humorous and relevant to current developments.
I tie in stories with marketing topics or theoretical portions, and give examples from YouTube or conversations. This helps students relate to the material and understand the importance of marketing.
Whether you pursue marketing as a career or not, it's imperative. The most relevant marketing for all students is marketing the number one brand you have: you.
So, market your own brand and learn the tactics people use to market other brands like Apple, Tesla, or Starbucks. Learn how they market themselves to market yourself as a product.
There's a bit of a challenge with my camera.
