What is one lesson that you've learned that has proven significant in your career?
That's a really good question. The one that never fails and always pops up is "control what you can control."
Focus on the things you can impact and work hard to make them as successful as possible. There will be many things outside of your control, and in those instances, there's nothing you can do.
So, there's no point in trying to solve something you have no control over. Your energy is better spent focusing on the things you can control. Look at it from all angles and problem-solve.
Ask yourself, "What are the ways this can go wrong?" Because again, that's within your span of control. This will help you increase the odds of making it as successful as possible.
