What are your main responsibilities within your current world?
There are so many responsibilities in my current role. My main responsibility is to oversee our full academic program. That sounds very narrow, but it's actually very broad.
I support teachers directly as well as site leadership, so principals and assistant principals. I also handle all of our curriculum adoption, evaluation, and purchasing.
I support our induction program for new teachers. I also work with all of our org-wide systems. We run four school sites across three counties.
Each school site is unique, but every school is a Scholarship Prep school. A lot of my role is creating the Scholarship Prep way and then supporting sites in meeting those expectations. I also help develop their programs so that we best support teachers and students.
I do a lot of being on-site, coaching people, people management, and change management. This is really focused on ensuring the instructional program is strong, so our children are learning and growing.
