Q8: Who thrives in the industry?

How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?

I would say people who are very determined definitely thrive in this industry. The kind of skills that you need to be very organized and detail-oriented are very important. People who are organized generally thrive in most industries.

I would also say that having good soft skills and communication skills is important. Without proper communication skills, you will have a hard time no matter what industry you're in. As you move up in your career, whether it's in field data governance or data analytics, it is a very important skill to be able to communicate your work.

Generally, you could work with some of the most brilliant technical people, technical developers, and analysts, but if they are not able to communicate their work, it doesn't really mean much in the end. Communication and understanding how to communicate to different audiences are key. People with those skills tend to thrive.
