How would you describe people who typically thrive in your industry?
The people who would typically thrive in this industry? I would say not necessarily high energy, but someone who is easy to talk to and sociable to a certain extent. People who are very organized and detail-oriented also do well.
One of the things I enjoyed most was the flexibility. There was a lot of change going on, but I had to stay very organized or else I would be all over the place.
As a consultant working for a client, the client needs you to be organized so they can focus on their day-to-day. They can then come to you for answers.
So, I would say attention to detail, organization, and sociability are common traits of people who thrive as consultants.
