What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I enjoy the people the most. I know that might sound like a cliché or generic answer, but as a consultant, being adaptable and working with cross-functional teams means working with many different people. These can be people coding all day, selling to clients, or on the trading desk.
Working with others, especially in a help desk role, is something I like. I enjoy interacting with people and helping them solve their issues. As a consultant, that's a primary purpose of the job: helping others solve their problems.
Beyond just solving problems, I also appreciate getting to know people on a deeper level. It's more than just discussing objectives and execution. It's about understanding their stories, why they do what they do, and what brings them joy outside of work. That has also been very interesting.
