People who thrive are self-starters. They can identify what needs to be done and take the initiative to go for it, instead of always needing to be told what to do. Being able to motivate yourself as a self-starter is key.
I would also say those who are calm under pressure are successful. When things are changing fast and unexpected tasks arise with short timelines, it's important to remain calm. Being a source of peace for others during times of turmoil is super important.
Setting boundaries is also crucial. Successful people set boundaries, allowing them to say no to things like a 7:00 PM meeting after a long day. It's important to be able to say, "Let's talk about this tomorrow; I'm done for today."
Being strict about enjoying time off, taking PTO, and utilizing company benefits is also vital. This includes turning off messaging during your time off to recharge, as things can be overwhelming.
