What skills are most important for a job like yours?
The number one skill is definitely communication, both within your team and for networking. I've learned that networking for myself and explaining what I do is a really important part of the job.
If you want to work on a specific project or get to know people, you need to be able to articulate exactly what you do. You need to have a clear way to explain your role and what you want to learn. So that's one of the main important skills.
I'll also say Excel and PowerPoint are important. Being able to use those tools, learn them, and absorb how to do different tasks is key. I knew the basics, but now I need to learn more and adapt those skills.
