Sharon, what do you enjoy most about being a brand manager?
I think it would be, like, being your work is well received by the customers or by the consumer, the mass market. So it is this, like, sense of achievement that kept me really happy with my work.
So I knew that I was interested in creative development, event planning, execution. I knew that I was interested in marketing. But after becoming a brand manager, I had this sense of achievement from seeing the response from the consumer and from the customer.
This came from either the press release or from consumer comments to events that I planned and held for customers. It was direct, face-to-face feedback. So I think it is this sense of achievement or the sense of purpose that kept driving me in this industry and in this role.
