What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
I think going back to the theme around people, developing and building relationships with people, anyone you're going to work with, no matter the seniority level, entry level, all the way to the C-suite. We are all folks trying to do the best we can with our day and with our time, and sort of realizing the humanity of those folks.
So, you don't put people too high on a pedestal. You can respect where they've been and what they're doing without putting them on a pedestal and blurring your vision of them.
This means you can humbly still approach those people and ask for advice. You can approach those folks and try to market to them. They are still people too.
I think it breaks down some artificial barriers we see between people and class structures that don't need to be there if you just realize the humanity in people and that we're all doing our best.
