What does a day in the life of a sales development rep look like?

My commute is pretty chill right now. I work hybrid, but if I go to the office, it's probably a 10-minute drive. I'll drive 10 minutes, then get all the food and snacks in the office. We can actually make breakfast there, which is cool.

There's a kitchen, so we'll make breakfast. I might say hi to the team and other people there. Then I'll start my day with just cold calling, pretty much.

The nice thing about this company, and I guess larger companies in general, is there are so many tools they give you. The training I had here was some of the most in-depth training I had in sales in my life. My last job had zero cold calling training, but this job, we spent weeks just going over how to cold call correctly. So I was like, okay, I know how to do it.

I'll cold call probably from nine to eleven or so, maybe nine to twelve. After that, I just do some more admin work, which is sending LinkedIn messages and emails, and then just getting ready for the next day. That's pretty much it.
