What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
Right now, my main tasks involve completing data requests from the audit team. They need specific data for their analysis.
For example, they might ask me to pull all accounts that were overdrawn within a certain date range. They also request all certificate of deposit accounts above a specific balance for a given date.
This is mainly what takes up the bulk of my time: getting data requests from the audit team, pulling that data, and sending it to them to support their audit testing.
Secondarily, I create dashboards that visualize data for our overall audit plan. I build visuals to show how many audits we've completed out of the hundred we need to finish this year.
These metrics and charts help show if we're on track to complete everything by the end of the year. This information helps the management team reshuffle the plan, manage resources, and ensure we're staying on track.
