How Identity Has Influenced a President at Enerlogics Networks Inc's Career
Scott's most impactful WP Carey experience was a six-week international business elective in Europe and Australia, which provided "a bigger, broader, global perspective" on business. This exposed Scott to the "symbiotic" union-company relationships in Europe, contrasting sharply with the US model and offering valuable insights into international collaboration and competition within industries.

What was the most impactful experience during your time at WP Carey?
At WP Carey, I did an elective on international business. During that course, we spent, I think, six weeks in Europe, Australia, and the Czech Republic.
It was very impactful for understanding a bigger, broader, global perspective on how the business world works. In particular, we spent a lot of time looking at how union relations were in Europe.
In contrast to how they are in the US, unions and companies in Europe work very well together. They are very symbiotic, bringing solutions to the table for the best interest of both the workers and the company.
This global perspective gave me a different viewpoint on how business can work around the world. That collaborative mindset is much stronger in Europe than in the US, where it's a lot more competitive.
It was really interesting to get that perspective of how competitors in Europe collaborate to drive a bigger industry. I didn't see the same kind of concept here in the US. That was a big experience for me that helped give me a better, broader, global perspective.
