What skills are most important for a job like yours?

I'd say I'm especially strong in client services. This applies to anyone working at a large agency or in management consulting. Being able to navigate ambiguity is probably one of the biggest skill sets that comes from project-based work.

It stems from clients not always articulating the business problem they're trying to solve. So, it's important to help them understand the challenges they face in their market and articulate their ambitions. I think that's key to success.

Comfort with uncertainty and resilience are also very important. Additionally, a good strategist has sensational curiosity. They are never satisfied with an answer and are always asking "why" and "what's next." I think that's incredibly important to be a successful strategist.
