Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?
I went to culinary school in 2020. My program was about a year long. After graduating, we had to complete an internship at any restaurant we could get into.
I did my externship at West Part. It was about a thousand hours. Then, I worked at a couple of restaurants in Los Angeles, working either morning or night shifts.
After that, I decided to pursue a private job rather than working in a restaurant. My school sent me an email about a company needing a private chef to prepare their lunches and breakfast.
I reached out to them and sent my resume. Our interview process usually involves cooking for them to show how we work in the kitchen environment. I completed two or three cooking sessions with the company and got the job.
