What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
What I enjoy most about my current role is my ability to have a really great impact on every employee I meet. Many people think that learning and development is just a part of HR that deals with things like compliance training.
But really, learning and development can impact someone's career in a way you might not have realized. I think of my own career; if someone hadn't had the conversation with me to tell me learning and development was a career I could be in, I probably wouldn't be here.
So, I think what's really impressive is how deep an impact our learning professionals can have on the organization and people's individual careers.
