There's always a lot of change and variety, which is fun. On any given day, I could be learning about the company's priorities through meetings and materials.

In my communications role, I also build and oversee content. This often involves creating content briefs, which outline what we're going to create. I define the message, format, and target audience.

I build these briefs to ensure my team knows what kind of content we're producing. I also review a lot of my team's content, which can include written articles or video assets.

Additionally, I manage budget and resources. I have a budget to spend on agency resources, such as a video editor or tools for my team. I ensure we spend the budget as intended and suggest new ideas or tactics.

As a people leader, I also focus on training and development for my team. My team's growth is my top priority. I spend a lot of time thinking about how to help them improve and how to be the best manager possible.
