What does a day in the life of an account executive look like?

It's a day in the life. Typically, I'll go in anywhere between eight to nine or eight to ten, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I go in to assess what I have throughout the week.

Based on that specific day, say if we're starting with a Monday, I do a lot of one-on-ones. Essentially, one-on-ones means I'll meet with my BDR, business development representative. I'll also meet with my sales engineer, who is what we call an SE.

The SE is the technical person that's on almost every single one of my calls to make sure that we have our week fully planned out. This includes what roles and responsibilities are his on every call and what are mine. I also meet with my partner team.

That's probably more weekly versus daily, but it gives a lot more insight into the partner activities that we have, daily or weekly. Then I'll also meet with my boss. Essentially, with my boss, we'll talk about all the opportunities that I have, whether they're closing this week, in the month, or in the quarter.

We assess the pipeline to make sure that we're hitting the specific numbers and targets that I represented to my boss. We also understand anything else that we need to conquer during that call to ensure that for the week, we're pretty much set to go.

We do that probably three to four times a week to meet with all those people and ensure everyone's on the same page. As quickly as we move at Wiz, things change daily, so we just need to make sure that we're fully on board and understanding each person's roles and responsibilities.
