What are your main responsibilities as an account executive at Salesforce?

Priority number one is driving revenue for the company from your patch. I have about 50 to 60 companies in my patch, whether they are Salesforce customers of one product or another, or multiple products.

There are also about 40 greenfield accounts. These accounts have either attributed their Salesforce spend in the past or have never bought Salesforce products before.

It's my job to position Salesforce as a technology vendor of choice, a CRM vendor of choice. There's a bevy of other products now, like Slack and Tableau, and all these other things.

My role is to understand their business and then match a Salesforce solution to a pain, challenge, or obstacle they are experiencing. This is in order to drive revenue for my company and for their company as well.

The name of the game is to increase the annual order value of Salesforce customers and then close new business too.
