What does a day in the life of an account executive look like?
A day in the life of an account executive is a little different each day. A big part of being an account executive is knowing how to structure your day.
I usually get in, answer any emails I have, and prep for any calls scheduled for that day. At the end of the day, I always save room for prospecting and outreach. This is for prospective clients and also for clients who may be unresponsive.
In the middle of the day, you can expect a few internal meetings and some trainings. You can always expect it to be like practice. There are "games," which are the client calls, and you have to practice to get good at those calls through trainings, internal meetings, and learning the product.
Then there's "playing time." Getting to client calls isn't something you can rely on anyone else to set up for you. It's up to you to do proactive outreach to clients and to prospect into the correct accounts.
