What is one lesson you've learned that has proven significant in your career?
Very initially in my career, I thought I had to pursue my value-driven social goals and my professional goals separately. But then I realized it's possible to pursue them together.
You can find roles that fulfill both your values and your professional goals at the same time. Alternatively, you can create them by negotiating with the team or organization, or you could start something on your own.
I would say be clear and define what matters to you. What kind of work inspires you, will fulfill you, and you think is meaningful, while also satisfying your intellectual curiosity and using your skills and talents.
Keep looking and build for such jobs. In the meanwhile, keep building the skills that you need. You can always have a more fulfilling career than you think you can.
