What skills are most important for a job like yours?

Communication is key. You need to be able to communicate at a variety of different levels.

There will be days when you are engaging with higher-level positions, like CEOs. Then, there will be other days where you are talking to a trucker or someone scheduling appointments at a warehouse. You need to be able to communicate clearly on both of those levels, and across the team as well.

This means making sure that if an announcement comes out across the company, you can communicate it to each person on the team so they understand. If they notice things about the economy or the industry, clear communication will help them understand how that impacts their role and the bigger picture. So, it's about really fine-tuning communication at all levels.
