What does a day in the life of a director of logistics services look like?
My typical day starts with a check-in call with my whole team each morning. Each day of the week has a different focus.
We have Motivation Mondays, and on Tuesdays, we talk about the news. Wednesdays focus on training. On Thursdays, we have a call to recap our to-do list and ensure everyone's on track.
Fridays don't have a call. The rest of my day consists of one-on-one meetings with various team members, negotiating with vendors, and joining sales calls with customers. I also try to expand our portfolio.
I also check in on the metrics I mentioned earlier. I look for challenges the teams are facing and work with groups to help resolve them.
