What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
One thing I love about being in my industry is meeting new people all the time. This is partially because it's a university setting, so there are always new people joining.
Every year I work with students, and I get to be a mentor on a daily basis. Being a mentor isn't just about teaching; it's about learning from the people you are with.
As every new student I work with comes into the office, I learn a new and better way of doing things. Being able to constantly learn from a new group of people is invigorating.
It's nice to stay humble and not think you're the smartest person in the room. Often, it's not fun to be the smartest person because then you aren't learning, and learning is so much fun.
