What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
I am an associate consultant at Slalom. Slalom is a tech-heavy firm where we do a lot of technological or software integration.
I'm specifically working in the change sector, which is very people-focused. I work with clients and their employees. I understand their needs and any discrepancies they have with understanding the software they are moving towards.
I help build out communications to inform them about changes based on their current roles. I also help build training material and drive consulting. Everything at Slalom is project-based, so my timeline is about six months.
It's a plan and strategy for six months on how to get the people I'm working with to the end goal, which is usually technology-related. I provide support via materials, calls, or anything else to help them assimilate into the changing environment.
