What does a day in the life of a director at SPMB look like?

Every day is different. I've developed more of a week-by-week cadence, but what usually happens is that at some point during the week, I'll do a large wave of outreach for my clients.

I might reach out to anywhere between 10 and 50 people, depending on the project. Then, people will start to respond, saying they're interested in engaging or learning more about the opportunity.

I'll then start to schedule those conversations and meet those folks. It's a process of working with the analyst to find the people we want to speak with and getting them into our database. I'm still very hands-on with the research.

I don't think you ever stop doing the research side of things, even as you progress. Then I'll reach out to those folks, have those conversations, process them, and start to move them forward. This whole process takes about a week.

I'm doing that across several different clients and projects. That's what it looks like for one individual project across a week. You can imagine that on Monday I'm working with Client X on outreach, and on Tuesday, I'm working with Client Y on outreach.

Then on Wednesday, I'm starting to speak to the people I reached out to for Client X on Monday. You can see how that cadence progresses through the week.
