What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I think for me, just working with people is something I really enjoy. It's challenging at times, for sure, but it's also very rewarding, stimulating, and fulfilling.
People usually come to us because they're dealing with some serious issues. They don't typically come to a doctor when everything's fine.
The interactions are therefore pretty meaningful. I also like working as part of a team with other clinicians, doctors, nurses, and social workers.
We all collaborate, and everyone gets to bring something to the table and contribute. It's nice to have that camaraderie and support. I think it also makes for better care.
