Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Please include any internships or jobs you had before your current role.

For MedU, during my college career Pathways, I gained experience through internships with elementary and high schools, building my education background. I also subbed into courses to see if the teaching aspect was the right path for me.

I found myself more suited to a mentoring role. My coaching background led me to realize that counseling and advising was more my calling.

My experience as an advisor for student athletes helped me educate them on not just athletics, but also education and pathways, and how to connect those two fields. I also had roles in coaching, realizing that my coaching perspective translated well into mentoring within the education department.

This transitioned into my knowledge of education. These are my background experiences, having been in the field for over 15 years.
