What are your main responsibilities within your role?

The responsibilities in my role are technical. There's a certain amount of competency and skills required in the space. I need to quickly understand what's going on within an organization by the time they work with a consultant.

The type of work I do is lifecycle consulting. I go in, do the analysis, and understand the team and the organization. Then, I actually apply these things.

I haven't worked at a place where I've just shown up, done an analysis, left a report, and said, "Let me know how it goes." A lot of the work I've done involved implementation, which I've enjoyed.

I have the responsibility to understand the client and the problems they're facing. It's about understanding the application of solutions. We can come up with many great ideas, but being able to put them into motion and help clients overcome hurdles as they face them is more important than optimizing to the penny.
