Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college?

Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?

My career actually started in mechanical engineering. I had and still have a desire to impact at mass or impact at scale through my work. Engineering seemed like a great fit for that.

Growing up in a Caribbean household, the paths to career success were engineering, medicine, and law. I thought engineering was the only way to achieve my goals. So, I ended up in that field and worked as a mechanical engineer for four years in the oil and gas sector.

As I advanced, I developed a curiosity for other parts of the business outside of my technical role. Supply chain was a natural fit, and I pursued my MBA in supply chain management through Arizona State University to make that transition.

That led to my internship at Mattel, where I got my first taste of working in corporate America, beyond just the technical skills I'd developed. Post-ASU, I was fortunate to join EY in their supply chain and operations practice as a senior consultant. I've since been promoted to manager in my current role.
