What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
Here's the cleaned transcript:
For me right now, I'm at Zedi, which is my current company. I'm happy to share that.
At Zedi, my role is really to open up the US office. My whole team is based in London. I joined as employee number six to open them here in America.
I wake up every day and wear a lot of different hats. A lot of my job is building relationships across the US to figure out where we can get projects and business.
I also communicate what it's like in America. If I'm working with people in the UK, I need to tell them how to do business out here. A lot of my job involves research in that area.
I do some traveling to conferences, meeting with people, and building relationships. A lot of my role is also pitching our product and asking people if they are interested and if there's an opportunity in this market for what we're building.
For me, a lot of the strategy and partnerships involves looking at how to open in a market, how to teach people about something, and whether there's a desire for what you're bringing.
