What do you enjoy most about being in your role?

This is a hard one. I like it all, and that's a crazy response, but I'm going to give the hallmark answer. We work with a lot of nonprofits, social impact businesses, and foundations.

So, we get to see the direct impact of our work. We're not a typical marketing agency selling a product or helping people push merchandise. That's not who we attract.

We believe in the mission. If we're working with folks doing immigrant advocacy, democracy advocacy, or social service work, we know we can help them generate revenue to make more impact. This means getting more kids fed or doing whatever the cause requires.

That's the best part of the work. We run one campaign a year with a chapter of the United Way in Rhode Island. Every single year, we raise the bar, and this year we raised $5 million for them through a social media marketing and influencer campaign. There's nothing better than that.

You wrap up that day and think, "Damn, I did that. We did that." That's what keeps me going. This is super fun. I know there are a lot of negatives to running a business, and I could go into detail, but seeing the direct impact is the most fulfilling part of it.
